Adults The health of adults 18-64 received a B, with Colorado trailing other states in the number of insured adults or those who say they have a doctor or health care provider. Like teens, adults in Colorado are heavier drinkers than in most other states. Almost 19 percent of adults admitted to binge drinking within the last month. Adult health earned high marks for low rates of diabetes and hypertension, and Colorado ranked first for the lowest percentage of obesity at 18.4.
