PPO Select Basic: This plan offers members four different options
with different deductible levels. With it, members are free to choose
doctors and other health care providers from a large network. Premiums
depend on the plan members choose and also other factors, such as
age, sex, and number of family members etc.
PPO Select Value Care: This plan is more limited than PPO Select
Basic, and it allows members more savings on premiums. Members are
not needed to meet a deductible. As with PPO Select Basic, members
under this plan can also choose from a large network of health care
providers.
PPO Select Choice Series III: This plan features eight sub-plans
for you to choose from to give you an excellent combination of benefits,
deductibles, and flexibility for you and your family. You are entitled
to enjoy low co-pays for office visits. PPO Select Choice Series
III gives you an opportunity to plan for today and for your family’s
medical future.
PPO Select Saver Series III: This plan offers you seven options
so that you can pick your deductible level, get the benefits that
you are looking for, and control your medical costs.
Select Blue Advantage Series III: With this plan, members can enjoy
the benefits of a PPO plan along with the ability to choose from
eight different deductible plans to fit their and their families’
needs. Under these plans, members are entitled to receive a number
of special benefits, including a choice of office visit co-pays
and a prescription drug card program.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas also offers a comprehensive and
convenient Medicare option to residents of Texas. The Medicare Advantage
Plan, Blue Medicare PPO, is offered by HCSC Insurance Services Company,
an affiliate of BCBSTX. It provides care through the company’s
network of doctors, specialists, and hospitals while still giving
members the freedom to get care out of the network. There is also
a high deductible health plan, BlueEdge Individual HAS, that can
be used with a Health Savings Account (HSA).
