Grant Will Improve Health Care in Rural Parts of Illinois
Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich announced a $1. 6 million funding to get better health care in country areas of the state.
The funding, from the Health Resources and Services Administration, will assist make a system that will let medical amenities in three Southern Illinois counties to in secret share enduring in order electronically.
Distribution that in order will get better the security and excellence of healthcare for residents in the exaggerated counties: Washington, Marion and Jefferson. It will permit doctors and medical facilities right of entry to patients' health records.
"When a patient is in need of immediate care, the doctor should have instantaneous right of entry to the patient's records and medical history. This grant allows us to lend a hand rural hospitals and medical facilities to have instant access to that in order, and in turn help get better the healthcare of their patients," Blagojevich said in a press release.
