The promise made by Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield to its members is to stick by them through thick and thin by offering them innovative health products and services. With three million members to care for, the company has grown by leaps and bounds. Today it serves under the names of Regence Blue Shield of Idaho, Regence Blue Shield of Washington, Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oregon and Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield of Utah. The plans are individually independent licensees of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association (BCBSA). As a not- for- profit organization, it has the constant aim to create healthcare products and services that the common man finds accessible.

Regence Blue Shield of Idaho has plans for individuals, families and even employer groups. Aged individuals above 65 years of age who are Medicare eligible can also find health coverage options at Regence Blue Shield of Idaho. As for plans created for families and individuals, Regence Idaho offers Regence Summit, Regence Now Select and Regence HSA Health Plan. The Regence Summit plan has a range of deductibles for you to choose from. Starting at $1000, the deductible choices go upto $7500. Benefits under this plan include ambulance services, home health care, maternity care, treatment for substance abuse, care for mental health conditions and laboratory services amongst others.

Regence Now Select, like Regence Summit, has four deductible choices for members-$1000, $2500, $5000 and $7500. When members avail services within the given network co- insurance stays at 20% and when the same is done outside the network the percentage of co- insurance increases to 50%. Benefits under this plan include maternity care, ambulance services, preventive care and hospital care apart from several others. Regence HSA Health Plan is for both individuals and families. Both have three deductible choices each to select from. While for individuals, deductible choices start at $1500 and goes upto $3500, for families the same begin at $3000 and end at $7000. Plan benefits are inclusive of home health care, medical equipment, chiropractic services, ambulance services, prescription drugs, preventive care, mental health treatment and more.

Medicare eligible individuals can avail the following plans- Senior Selection, Medicare Supplement, Regence Med Advantage Plan, Health Sense 65 and Part D Prescription Drug plan. While the first two are supplement plans, the third and the fourth are advantage plans. Medicare Supplement category of plans includes A, C, F and G plans.

Groups too have access to a number of plans depending on the number of employees in the organization in question. Innova, Regence Revive, Engage, Regence Select and Regence Chamber Select are some plans offered by the Regence Blue Shield of Idaho. Innova is essentially a self- managed plan that allows employees enjoy the kind of freedom they had always been looking for. Deductible choices range between as low as $250 and as high as $5000. Benefits include preventive care, maternity care, prescription drugs and more. Like Innova, Regence Revive, too, is a plan created for groups of 2 to 99 employees. Low premium and extensive benefits characterize this plan. Regence Revive is ideal if a group is seeking special preventive care benefits. Engage, too, is a self managed with benefits similar to that of Innova. Regence Select and Regenc e Chamber Select are again plans for groups of 2 to 99 employees. Plans for larger groups (above 100) are mostly customized in nature.
