Does the deductible clause apply to dependants also? |
|
Each person has to pay an amount of deductibles before you become eligible for cover. But most plans do include some family deductibles so that health care costs can be met. It is usually provided as a multiple of the individual’s deductibles. In order to calculate the family deductible, the total expenses of the covered members are calculated. The deductible is usually twice or thrice the individual deductible. However, some plans usually require that at least one individual’s deductibles be satisfied before the cover starts. |
