A base plus plan is an insurance plan that has two parts. There is a basic care coverage which includes doctor’s visits, hospitalization, surgery etc. there may be restrictions on certain details like number of hospitalization days and surgical schedules etc. but there are no deductibles or co insurance applied to the covered parts. There is full reimbursement for every dollar. The second type of coverage is for other health expenses. The coverage is more generalized and has lesser limits. But a deductible is charged before the cover starts.
